- Apricot is an
important fruit grown in the dry temperate and midhill regions of India. This
fruit belongs to the family of "Rosaceae" and Genus of
"Prunus". The original apricots are native to China where as wild
apricot which is known as "zardalu" is indigenous to India. In India,
